The S01 thermostat is a thermal protector. It features a compact design with silver-plated copper shell and utilizes a bimetallic component. S01 Button type is snap action and bimetallic thermostat. Bimetal trips off or on quickly to open or close the circuit when temperature reaches the prescribed value.

S01(Noemal Closed):

 

that is a normally closed products, when the current flows the case terminal and

bimetal strip, then the bottom board terminals is connecting to application (such as motor and

transformer etc.) in circuit, when the application works abnormally, which causes the ambient

temperature to exceed these setting value, the thermal protector cut the power off ,when the

ambient temperature will decrease and then the protector will close again.

S01(Normal Open):

 

that is a normally open products, when the current flows by the case terminal and

bimetal strip, then the bottom board terminals is connecting to application (such as motor and

transformer etc.) in circuit, but under normal circumstances the circuit is open when the

application works abnormally, which causes the ambient temperature to exceed these setting

value, the thermal protector will connect on the power, when the ambient temperature to

decrease and then the protector will be disconnected again.
