This voltage sensitive relay is design for two battery systems (SUITABLE for Acid-Lead batteries, NOT SUITABLE for Lithium batteries), allow to having two separate power sources while charging by one alternator, it's all need to charge and isolate two battery systems.
 

Working Principle:
 

The Voltage Sensitive Relay (VSR) allows two batteries to be charged at the same time. When the engine is started and the start battery reaches 27.4 volts, the VSR engages, allowing two battery banks (start and house) to be charged simultaneously. When the voltage drops below 25.6 volts (eg the engine is stopped), the VSR disengages, separating the batteries. This system eliminates the possibility of draining the start battery and protects sensitive electronic equipment powered from the house battery from harmful engine start up spikes.

8. Auto State: Long press the button for 3 button again, the BLUE led will be Off, the Auto mode is on. Voltage exceed 13.3V: Circuit will be automatically connected. Voltmeter & Indicator ON. Voltmeter lower than 12.7V: Circuit will be automatically disconnected. Voltmeter & Indicator Off.
